CHEAP CALLETH UNTO CHEAP

 CHEAP CALLETH UNTO CHEAP

Be a man and prove your worth

Make your mark upon the earth

You were called to fight and form

Subdue, create, find, explore

Instead a life of challenge and joys

Is being consumed on mere toys

Mesmerised by childish games

Unreal pains and futile gains,

Dragon's fire and wizard's hex,

Easter eggs and vain side-quests

Compelled to beat your own PB

And powerless to wrestle free

Another night with not much sleep?

Well, cheap calleth unto cheap!

You're called to rule a living world

Not this flashing, flickering, swirl

With manly vigour held in thrall

It's time at last to  'Delete all'

Pull clear of that empty glare

See at last there's nothing there.
